CONSULTING EDITOR
Karl Flowers has been a consulting editor for various scientific magazines and articles for many years. He is a pioneer in his field, where he is widely valued.
March 1994 - 2017
SENIOR LECTURER
After completory of his Science degree with a major in Microbiology and zoology, Karl began a career of teaching others. From 1994 - 2016 he worked at the Rhodes University and The Leather Industry Research Institute before coming to England to teach Leather Science at the University of Northampton. He has also worked as a consultant with the Leather Working Group and taught the "Understanding Leather" course at for various companies and brands.

MASTERS IN LEATHER SCIENCE
Karl studied at Rhodes in South Africa before his career began at The Leather Industry Research Institute, Grahamstown. He quickly built on his expertise, allowing him to branch into many areas; in leather science and education.
